  • Overview

    The Assistant Market Manager will assist the Market Manager for the local College Program representing a leading wireless carrier. The role includes managing on-site activation at school sporting events and local events. Enthusiasm, flexibility, organization, self-motivating and self-managing, excellent communication skills, and professionalism are attributes necessary to successfully perform the tasks of the job.

    Responsibilities

    • Driving a box truck/cargo van to event with event site materials
    • Setting up event site for event execution
    • Managing local staff to ensure team is meeting lead generation goals as well as provoding a positive consumer experience
    • Assist manager with recaps when needed
    • Ability to work independently and act as the go to person in the local market
    • Relay key program communication to consumers in order to create brand awareness

    Qualifications

     

    General Qualifications:

    • Strong management skills in terms on mamaging on-site staff in a fast paced enviornment
    • Ability to be flexible based upon client requests throughout activation
    • Detail oriented Individual who takes initiative and ownership of assigned responsibilities 
    • Team player with flexibility, ability to work under pressure and a positive attitude 


    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma required
    • 1-3 years of event marketing experience preferred
    • Candidates must be 21 years of age or older 
    • Candidate may be asked to submit information for a background and drug check
